Specialist employment firm GQ Littler has announced that Raoul Parekh has been made partner and Caroline Baker promoted to senior counsel. The promotions took effect at the beginning of September.

Parekh works across all areas of employment law, including advisory, litigation and transactional support and has significant experience of international HR projects, employment tribunal litigation, as well as High Court employee competition matters. He is also experienced in day-to-day HR support, including dealing with employee grievances and consultation processes, terminations and business restructures. He joined GQ Littler in 2015 from Baker McKenzie.

Caroline Baker joined GQ Littler in 2011 from Slaughter and May and advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of employment law, from board level exits and complicated restructures to managing employment tribunal litigation. She has particular experience of advising financial services sector employers and dealing with associated remuneration structures and regulatory issues. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and its Pro Bono Committee.
