Hate crimes re-examined

The Crown Prosecution Service is working with six police forces to re-examine their hate crime cases to see if the correct decisions were taken, following a significant drop in referrals, the DPP revealed.

Self-driving law review

A three-year review by the Law Commission of England and Wales and the Scottish Law Commission will examine legal obstacles to the introduction of self-driving vehicles.

Product recall code

Standards body BSI and the Office for Product Safety and Standards have announced the first code of practice for product safety recalls in the UK.
