I don’t know why legal executives don’t go the whole hog like I did and qualify as a solicitor. In my 50 years they have always been seen as the underdog or glorified managing clerks when in fact they deserved better. As a youngster I first became a fellow legal executive, then a licensed conveyancer before then taking the plunge and became a solicitor. To all those I say take the exams and qualify you will not regret it. Now back to the sun!
