Thank you to The Property Lawyers Alliance for speaking up on the draconian rules we now face in respect of AML. One has to ask oneself if it’s worth being a solicitor when all one does is forensic accounting. I never signed up for that.

Money Laundering has developed into its own area of specialism with external firms now advising us on what we need to be doing, it’s become that complex.

Let’s hope this government actually sticks to its word on this matter. I’m not holding my breath.
