Thank you to the Property Lawyers Alliance for the work they have done in getting this matter under the noses of politicians. It's a shame that it has come to this, that legal practitioners have to find for themselves in this way, but fend we must if we are to survive in this profession. If AML was dealt with at source, we would not have to spend hours and hours of billable time trying to knit together the jigsaw that forms our clients source of funds. With all the fines that are being imposed by the regulators on small practices in relation to the alleged breach of AML rules I dread to think how much farther this farce would have continued without intervention of the Property Lawyers Alliance. Well done!
