Can't see how this will help prevent fraud.

Why when you have to report these figures to HMRC can they not just investigate based on those reports. Making financial information available to anyone on the internet is a bad idea and has no basis to prevent fraud.

It will be like the Land Registry: they made it an open register and it enables property fraud.

The public interest is not the same as the public intrigued.
