Sir Wyn is right, although I note that the Solicitors Regulation Authority has also invited victims of the Post Office Scandal to come forward if they believe solicitors are overcharging them.

Should the government agree to pay the claimants' reasonable legal costs, it follows that if they do, there should be a ban on charging claimants any additional 'own client' costs thereafter.
