A headline in one of yesterday's newspapers said you can get £25,00 a year on benefits. Those benefits are, of course, tax free.

Which leaves the question: why is any sensible person with half a functioning brain doing legal aid work? The doctors will be gong on strike for a large pay increase (29 per cent) having had 22 per cent last year. It's time for all firms to wake up and stop doing any legal aid work until they are paid properly.
