There is a way of financing the administration of the courts - and of making Legal Aid work as it was intended to - and of making the junior criminal bar better, thereby saving it. Are the MOJ, LSB, SRA, BSB et al interested in even looking at it, aside from whether they'd support it ? Oc course they aren't. They're all thoroughly incompetent. The lot of them need to be completely swept away. There are solutions. But they aren't going to do themselves. The system is rotten to the core. The Tories did nothing. Now Labour is also doing nothing and endangering community safety.
