This morning we received an invitation to an MOJ discussion on using client account interest to fund "access to justice projects". i assume many others did too. As a medium sized firm which does approx 35% legal aid work i think we are already suffering enough and intend to tell them so!

and @Anon 11.23 , why should a firm suffer because the other party has chosen to be a LIP? they are often the most problematic matters which cause the most problems and more admin (which is non-chargeable anyway). Many firms would probably cease to act in those circumstances.
