First time Sian? They’ll hijack any topic with any excuse they can find… or sometimes just pull offence from thin air to have something to complain about.

Perhaps the reform lot would care to look at the reform-controlled Durham County Council. So far they’ve: had triple the complaints over the same period last year, lost/rejected some £25mil in government environmental/net zero grants that they’ll have to pay back because they would prefer the county to pay more for electricity and be less energy efficient and the only benefits they can point to is not funding the local pride parade (which they haven’t funded for a couple of years under the Lib Dems anyway) and taking down some flags and putting up other flags (breaking even on flags at least). The latest is the Durham Council Tax is most likely going to rise at least 5%; not exactly the raft of DOGE-esque cuts and savings that were promised because, guess what, we’re already off the back of 14 years of austerity and cuts.

Anyone who thinks a reform government will do anything about court buildings, infrastructure, the NHS, schools or indeed do literally anything except line their own pockets is delusional. At least the other parties pay lip service and throw scraps.
