Oh dear, more customer facing garbage from the SRA. The regulating body that is supposed to be independent but is not.

In years of practice I have found that any involvement with the SRA starts with the presumption that you are guilty until proven innocent.

Try making a complaint against an accountant or a surveyor, and see where that gets you. Their organisations are robust and defend their members to the hilt.

Today we have the Law Society that is ineffective and bows to all Government changes, we have the SRA that over regulates practices until they give in and close down. Then we have the Legal Ombudsman, which is not as bad as it might be, but could be better.

With clear recent demonstrations of poor judgement and bad administration, the SRA should look at itself first, before anything else.
