Barbara your observations are spot on with regard to the problems of one party being legally aided and the other not. But would it have been better for both to have had a Certificate, or neither? I can't make up my mind. However, clients do tend to think that once they have a Certificate that's it, nothing more for me to pay.

The sad thing is that had your client at least given her everything immediately he would, ironically, have been better off. Now what sort of a justice (sic.) system produces results like that?
