I've had a "nothing but fixed fees" policy since 2007, long before QS and Riverview, first as a team leader within what is now one of the QS firms and for the last 3 years within my own practice. It's yesterday's news and we've moved well beyond it now. To the doubters, I'm delighted that you won't adapt and survive. We're not about price, but it certainly won't hurt our chances of taking your share of the market.

And by the way, there's no reason why litigation can't be done on a fixed fee basis. As with all services, it's just a question of experience and scoping. And pricing? Well, I could tell you how to do it, but then I'd have to shoot you...
