Why not look at the system in use in most states in the U.S.? Real estate brokers are licensed to do straight-forward contracts on the basis of an approved form. Most properties have registered titles and, as the record of transfers is readily available from county authorities, conveyancing is handled by title insurance companies which operate under the supervision of a lawyer. It is fast and efficient for clients. The legal profession seems to survive and thrive without conveyancing propping up small practices.
