Report comment

I would like to know who this blog is open to and whether it is only open to current members of the profession or if not what is the criteria for receipt of the Gazette emails and who is allowed to comment on them. If it is to properly reflect the current members of the profession, then presumably there should be controls on who can comment on it. I am all for freedom of speech by the way, don't get me wrong, but if this blog is supposed to represent the current views of the profession, then should not only current members of the profession be allowed to comment on it - or is it supposed to be open to the public. Just so we all understand.
