I too think this is a very dangerous area. Over 90% of solicitors qualified in England to practise English Law and few would have any real understanding of Sharia Law. If you want a Sharia law complaint will get one from a Sharian lawyer! Would a local Bagdad law society if there is one issue a policy on English law wills? Of course not, any more than Hungarian or Peruvian. I too would decline instructions on the basis of lack of competence. Keep to the scope sheet guys, all this multicultural nonsense. We are British/English lawyers in our jurisdiction practicing English law. I am half Italian and would not seek to touch on Italian wills even though half my family are Italian.
