To say there is no such thing as 'whiplash' is nonsense. I was in low speed rta in a traffic jam and could hardly move the next morning or the day after that. I was still having minor problems a couple of months later which made it uncomfortable to sit at a desk or exercise. The only obvious damage to my car was a scratch on the bumper.
