I just hope that this consultation is not MP talk for "kicking it into the long grass" or hoping that it will get killed off because of the General Election. The NHS, the nearest we have in this country to a national religion, is like an oil tanker. It takes ages to change course. As a Clinical Negligence solicitor of many years experience, the refusal of a hospital to admit and explain at an early date hurts the patient often more than the original injury. Oh, and often encourages claims - just to find out what went wrong!
