The answer is staring us all in the face.
Look how long it took the Bar's 'No Returns' Policy to work. About 3 weeks, that's how long. All their cuts now put off until after the next election and 3 reviews. In other words, dead as digitalisation.

Imagine if solicitors stopped taking any new work in the Crown Court. It really could not be any simpler.

The only solicitors representatives that count are the LCCSA and CLSA. Our joint position is now to issue no new legal aid applications for Crown Court work, starting Monday 7th April.
We don't need, and don't expect every single firm to be on board to begin with. More will follow when they see it in action. If a majority, (all taking their own decisions), decide to follow this line, we could defeat both the cuts and the two-tier contract within a few months.

Look at what the Bar have just achieved. Then imagine if they had no new Briefs. Rocket Science, it is not.
