it would be more credible if the LCJ hadn't used weasly words. he is supposed to be fearless of political intervention. the 'balance' that he speaks of is the wrong way around. truth is that the changes are costing more in court time because of the loss of lawyers (people qualified in law at vast expense of time and £ to appear before courts....) is causing a complete waste of time. if I were not a qualified lawyer with a PC to think about, I would call them all a bunch of complete tossers.
