Sadly LAA officials are out to snatch every penny from solicitors and so have destroyed many firms' business and living. Courts are more business minded now and after court fees do not bother issuing unmeritorious and false cases and prolonging litigation like "kangaroo courts" you can even issue false and hopeless cases against someone only if court fee is paid or fee remission is used by claimants. So before issuing cases a preliminary view of merit should be made. I know a claimant has made 100 cases and he is not complying with any costs orders against him yet he is allowed to issue new applications judges do not mind such abuse and injustice to the other party.
