I seem to have some vague memories of a thing called foreseeability in the world of negligence. It seems to be entirely foreseeable that this operation could cause substantial loss to an awful lot of us if/when it goes belly up. Those who have the power to mitigate those losses should perhaps bear this in mind - SRA are you listening?
