by the way - don't you know they are injured - all systems suffer abuse in one form or another - referral fees are meant to have stopped for example - insurers driving people to their panel lawyers, almost literally

i once heard a defendant solicitor describe claimants as terrorists, "once you pay one, you have to pay them all" It was an awful comment and simply reinforced the ridiculous situation that we are in

If the insurance industry and their lawyers stopped bleating about the terrible claimants perhaps they would have time to think more about - well what about the Rehabilitation code, what about providing interim payments without applications and er what about seeing the injured person as a person ……the reforms should have sought to bring the humanity back into law and it has instead set the parties even further apart
