As a specialist family practitioner I often suggest that clients save their money for financial issues and get their divorce on line. I broadly agree with Munby's suggestion with the proviso that any final dissolution should be delayed until all financial/child issues are completed as for as is practical.
ADR of whatever colour is the way ahead, not just in family issues but to provide real solutions ouside the straitjacket of the law.
