Hear hear. Osborne's pitch that we were bust, like Greece, was obvious nonsense, but served a useful ideological purpose which has worked on the impressionable - that purpose being to dismantle what's left of the welfare state. Precious little belt-tightening going on among the 1%, that's for sure
