Agree, Mr Bower.

The UK has an adversarial justice system. Our highly trained lawyers provide a crucial role to society. We are not all "fat cat" lawyers as the MOJ wants the public to believe. Overnight, with the drastic cuts to the legal aid budget lay people are being expected to step into the shoes of lawyers and run their legal cases as if they are skilled lawyers. Court fees have been introduced which prohibit the bringing of claims because they are unaffordable. Producing a few fact sheets and guidance notes is a poor replacement for lawyers. I could go on and on...

Mr Crawford, your conservative government is not doing what it believes to be in the UK's best interests. It is doing what it believes to be in their own interests as Mr Bower eloquently puts it.
