It is right that the Profession should endeavour to show its clients that it does have an agenda for keeping up to date. CPD in its original form was never capable of being properly policed but it must also be said that self certification may be a case of triumph of style over substance and open to abuse. It is submitted that a conscientious approach to keeping up to date is a facet naturally acquired . You can take a horse to the water but you cannot make it drink it !
