Anonymous 10.30 pm the lack of understanding seems to have taken up residence in the collective judicial consciousness - they make these rules, Parliament rubber stamps them then they decide which ones they will respect. In any event how can it be right that any judge, deputy or otherwise is told what to do. Isn't there a series of cases about fettering one's judicial discretion?
