My mathematic solution:-

So success fees are now capped at 25% of damages.
All clients (infant or not) need to pay this.
All clients (infants included) now receive damages settlements with a Simmons 10% uplift.
Maybe the Courts could standardise an infant success fee at 10% thus allowing the infant "old style" full recovery on damages and a small success fee for the lawyers (who are only taking such % from their client's under financial duress).

Obviously, there should always be a mechanism to apply for more in very risk liability cases where such litigation risk can be shown by the applying Solicitor.
