I am not a bigot. However I am a woman and every time I see the burqa and face covering I wince. It is nothing at all to do with being a Muslim and is not a requirement of Islam. It was almost unheard of before extremism started to rise in the late 1970s. This is to do with controlling women, it causes vitamin D deficiency amongst other things which causes health problems for women. The treatment of women as second class citizens in this day and age is bigotry in the extreme. It's about time this country did something about it.
