I am no expert in this field of law, but even my limited analysis has seen commentary that states the way it is drafted suggests nothing of the sort- it is much more of an attempt to subvert the obligation of this Govt to observe the European convention, deny british subjects their rights under European law and makes the whole area subject to laws determined solely under parliamentary sovereignty and above any scrutiny or control
Is that what 'we' really want?

The question you need to ask is 'Why?'- why is it being implemented, why is it being rushed through and why are we trying to avoid scrutiny from Europe?

Perhaps- looking at recent troop mobilisation, having 'pulled out' of Afghanistan and Iraq, the west is going straight back in again....
