Yet again people try and blame personal injury firms for everything.

Claim numbers have been rising long before the LASPO change. Clinical claiims increased from 6652 and 8655 from 2009/2010 to 2010/2011 why don't you blame PI firms for that as well.

We are a PI firm who run clinical negligence cases competently and cost effectively. No defendant is compelled to pay out on any claim and the defendants here are seeking to change the compensation rules that has nothing to do with PI firms.

I wonder what proportion of the £259 million was paid to PI firms and what proportion to AVMA members?

At any opportunity the gazette tells us PI firms not to do clinical negligence.
