For years I have been convinced that the training industry creates an over supply of new lawyers. When in practice I saw lots opt for para legal jobs with obviously next to no chance of gaining a training contract once the next year's applicants were in the market also.

There should be some frank warning that unless you are Russell group and prepared to work thirty hours a day for a big firm, the prospects are distinctly ropey.
