When I see paralegals and other "wannabe" lawyers asserting their greater potential for meaningful contribution from the ridiculous standpoint of less academic rigor I am reminded of the Aesop fable about the fox with no tail: bragging about the merits of no tail to all those who are not lacking one.

This "epiphany" of the great potential of half-ass legal experience and training is led by nothing other than money:

- not greater business acumen, just cheapskate cutbacks;
- not diversity just dropping salaries to female levels;
- not modernization just greed for undeserved profit on the backs of those who will be left to work their "a**es" off for terrible money that won't even cover tuition fees
- not widening opportunity just ditching the EC butter mountain of LPC students because no one wants to pay a decent wage anymore (if lawyers ever did).

There is a re-emerging Einstein-ian pattern of screwing ourselves over again with ever monumental stupidity - and be sure you'll get the same result: oblivion!
