I am afraid that whilst many lawyers applaud this decision I don't. It lets the MOJ off the hook. Sooner or later the MOJ is going to have to deal with the mess that LASPO created. That really should be sooner rather than later. If Judges find creative ways around LASPO it just enables MOJ and Mr Grayling to deny that there is a real and significant problem that needs to be addressed.
