It's interesting that all the comments defending his behaviour , his use of titles, letters of office and qualifications are all anonymous. I am not a solicitor or barrister but I am a tax payer and I am astonished that this trial will have to be re scheduled at tax payers expense due to this. Whether or not he has legitimate use of these titles and letters, most people in life don't use them with such regularity as him. Michael Ancram didn't use his title when a lawyer as he felt it would be confusing and unfair for the judge to call him my lord, even though he is now a right honourable (privy council as a cabinet minister) and a Marquis. I have postgraduate and undergraduate letters after my name but I never use them apart from job applications where they go in the education section.
