I spotted this chap some time ago on LinkedIn. Even then his cv seemed incredible in that I could not see how he could possibly have achieved all he claimed within the span of his life to date. He may or may not be competent in court, but one's skills generally do not need boosting by false history and titles.

If - big if - her were an earl then he would be entitled to the "right honourable" handle. The trouble is there is no record of a "Lord Harley of Dublin" and the title Earl of Dublin has only been used three times in three hundred years, awarded each time to a son of the monarch. If the title dates back 1100 years then it pre-dates the Norman Conquest and would not therefore be part of the peerage (indeed there was no peerage in Ireland prior to the Norman invasion in the late 11th century). It would be interesting to hear how Mr. Blacker lays claim to the title or to "Lord Harley," which there is similarly no record of, and to the title "doctor" which implies a doctoral thesis from a university either in the UK or abroad (though I don't believe he claims the latter).

As for being a knight of St. John! A catholic charitable order where knighthood is strictly by invitation. Not however acquired by being a member of that worthy organisation the St. John Ambulance.
