Canada has been using electronic conveyancing platforms similar to Veyo since 25 years with up to 95% of solicitors using one of these electronic tools in certain provinces. Contrary to some comments made to this article, fraud has decreased whilst productivity has decreased. Fees charged by solicitors have not been affected by these tools. Econveyance (launched in 2006) and DoProcess (launched in 1989) are the main platforms in Canada. Australia has also a couple of online tools with LEAP conveyancing being one of the most used. I believe England and Wales solicitors will definitely benefit from catching up with the rest of the world.
