Yet again PII seems to be at the nub of this as the compulsory millstone around solicitors' necks.

When is there going to be a 'root and branch' enquiry into this, In order that solicitors can be given a menu of choices, as is the 'consumer'.

The Solicitors Act 1974 needs to be reviewed and then Solicitors, led by TLS need to be using their bargaining power to drive prices down from Insurers. God, I'm even developing the consumerist lingo from Elisabeth Davies, whom I'm sure will throw her weight behind downward pressure on indemnity insurance costs for the benefit of consumers.
