Why is it ' the powers that be' cannot get their heads around the fact that the solicitor acting in multi million pound company acquisitions is a completely different animal (so to speak) to the local sole practitioner solicitor who defends Mr Bloggs on a dangerous dogs charge in the local magistrates court, buys his house and makes his will - and that consequently very different rules viz a viz both PI and all manner of of other SRA regulation really ought to apply in order to make any sense of it all?
