The vocations mentioned in the article get overtime, lawyers don't. Based on the median salary, I spend a minimum of 60 hours per week working on or thinking about my files and that probably normal for the average lawyer. This would produce a whopping £13 per hour on the median salary. I earn a few pounds more than the minimum wage for all the additional stress. Is it really worth it? On occasion, I don't believe it is.
