With the Quality Solicitors group launching their online portal this week and some of the legal 500s already using vodcasts and webinars as a way of keeping their clients informed, we are already seeing the beginnings of what Mr Smith is talking about.

The High Street grocers who prided themselves on personal service were swept away by the supermarkets enabling people to shop on line. Why? Because most people disliked the hassle of shopping. Do High Street solicitors really think that clients would come to see them if someone gave them a way to avoid it, still get something approximating the product they want and for less money?
