I remember when the Tribunal Fees came in, the Respondent lawyers were jumping for joy at how their clients had been served a free lunch. Then when the shear extent of the drop in claims became evident and facing a large potential downturn of work themselves and possible redundancy, they changed their tune and started to condemn the level of fees and access to justice issues!... that old vested interest chestnut...
