Thanks also to Robin and Anon 12.33. What really concerns me at the moment is the number of time my questions about"SRA criticised over apparent City bias" I consider Gilbert's behaviour most reprehensible and that he should be prosecuted. Less well known solicitors might have been, which makes matters go from bad to worse.

Every time I blog on that issue my post is taken down. I wonder why?

"There are none so blind as those who don't want to see". The surest way to lose what respect is left for this profession is for it to fail to police those who go off the rails. The public thinks the less of us for it, and those in the profession who might be tempted to go off the rails will think that nothing happens if you do.

"The only thing needed for evil to prevail is for good men to say nothing".
