The process of issuing a Claim is that a junior member of the court staff logs it onto the system, seals 2 copies (Claimant's don't even get a sealed copy anymore) and then a copy is posted to the Defendant. How can the Government justify up to £10,000 for such menial work.

The Solicitor who wrote the letter before action, drafted the Claim Form and the Particulars is entitled to fixed cost of £100 if the Defendant does not submit a Defence.
