I received the email below on the 12th March and relayed the contents to my member firms on the 13th. A few other firms received similar calls, but were thankfully forewarned.

“I have just received a call from a company who represented themselves to my receptionist as from the SRA. I therefore took the call.

The survey was about the delivery of legal services but I cut it short because the questions started with when was the firm established. I questioned that if the questions were from the SRA they had this information. It then became apparent that it was not the SRA but a firm on their behalf. I have had calls to participate in surveys before but usually receive something in advance. Have any other Bold Legal Group members received such calls and did they participate in the survey?”

The SRA were contacted about this, also on the 13th. As far as I am aware, to date, there has been no official response or warning given.
