Surely your best bet is to get the Labour party on your side by showing how Grayling will now run rough shod over the 'Spirit and intent' of Purdah. The only thing that can stop Grayling now is to demonstrate that this will be a big vote loser for the Conservatives and hopefully in their most marginal seats. As a life long Conservative voter I cannot believe that I could even be suggesting this, especially as I am not even part of your profession. You need to get publicity for your cause and labour may be your only hope.
