The manner in which this was implemented and the change itself are both wholly inappropriate. We are meant to be a country with fair access to justice, where before the law we are all equal, well that has ended. If you are rich and can afford to pay you get justice, if you are poor and can't you get nothing. I am ashamed for our justice system. I for one will be asking any politician that asks, if we ever see any in the next 6 weeks, what they intend to do about this draconian law. Nothing I suspect. We have, through this, foefeited our "right" to criticise other countries and their justice systems, ours is now based on justice for the highest bidder.
