An absolute disregard has been shown for our profession and more is to come. This party doesnt have it in for us, so much as the people they govern and we stand in their way as we fight to uphold the rule of law and for the rights of our clients. This government doesnt want the people it rules over with any rights at all. The Teachers Unions were organised to fight against Gove and he was removed. Why has our profession not organised in this way? We need to start standing up for our rights in the same way we fight for our clients rights before its too late. The Lord Chancellor must be a person who has practised or understands the basic rudiments of the legal system!
